To ensure proper functioning of Prime Star Sports Services, it is important for all of us to follow certain terms & conditions. Please go through them carefully to avoid any ambiguity going forward.
1) Membership & Participation
Only registered members can take part in Prime Star Sports Services activities.
2) Missed Classes / Carry Forward
Missed classes cannot be carried forward to the next month for any reason.
Management may consider exceptions only if a valid medical certificate is provided.
3) Attendance & Punctuality
Attendance is a key factor affecting performance. Regular attendance is strongly encouraged.
Each student must follow the allotted timings for each class.
Students should be present before the beginning of the class.
Courses are offered on all weekdays.
Class duration depends on levels and coach recommendation.
Every student is allotted a specific timing for each class.
4) Long Absence Notification
If a student is unable to attend classes continuously for more than one month for any reason (including academic exams, school vacations, medical reasons, etc.), the absence must be communicated in writing to Prime Star Sports Services in the prescribed format.
This is important to avoid the student losing already allotted schedules (Teacher, Class, Transport etc.) due to prolonged absence and other students requesting similar schedules.
Coaches and the admin team cannot accommodate the student if the name is not in the schedule list of training on that day.
5) Fee Basis
Annual Registration Fees: AED 200 per annum (payable every 1st of January).
Documents required: Filled registration form, Passport copy, Emirates ID copy, Passport size photo, Sponsor PP copy with visa page, and Emirates ID.
Monthly payments include all holidays, breaks, and any potential scheduled/unscheduled interruptions to training due to matters beyond reasonable control (e.g., weather, maintenance).
Fees cover coaching services and are not attributable to individual coaches.
Training schedule may remain consistent; occasionally sessions may be reduced and coaches may be substituted due to tapering and competitions commitments.
Fee is calculated on a monthly basis based on the number of classes per month the student is registered to attend.
Classes per month: 8 / 12 / 16 / 24.
Plan your dates for the month at the beginning of the new month or end of previous month based on slot availability.
Slot date/time is given on a first-come-first basis. In case of issues, management decision is final.
6) Withdrawal & Refund Policy
Students who withdraw from the program/training for any reason WILL NOT be entitled to a refund of the full amount.
If the student has attended more than 2 sessions in a month:
- Fees are considered as 30% administration/business costs and 70% tuition fee (in line with refund policy).
- Upon commencement of tuition, if refund is requested, only the tuition fee will be refundable on a pro-rata basis for the remaining number of lessons in the term.
All refunds are at the discretion of Prime Star Sports Services.
7) Payment of Fees
Fees must be paid monthly in advance before taking the first class of every month.
Please collect the receipt for all transactions without fail.
8) Refund of Fee for Missing Classes
There are no cash refunds offered to students who are absent for whatever reason.
9) Compensatory Classes
Compensatory classes are generally not provided for classes missed for any reason (holidays, short-term sickness, school programs, etc.).
At its discretion, Prime Star Sports Services may consider granting compensatory classes only in the following exception case:
i) Unforeseen circumstances like medical illness, by providing a valid medical certificate.
If compensatory classes are agreed:
- They must be taken as per availability advised by the admin team before the end of the following month in which the class was missed.
- Compensatory classes will not be carried forward beyond this period for any reason.
Compensatory classes are NOT provided for classes that could not be conducted due to public holidays applicable to the private sector as published in local newspapers.
Compensation classes will only be offered when classes have had to be cancelled by Prime Star Sports Services.
Transport will not be provided for the student for attending compensatory classes.
10) Swap Slot (Rescheduling)
Slot swap must be done minimum one day prior.
Slot swap is possible within the same month only, provided the requested slot is available.
Missed class compensation cannot be given and classes are not carried forward to next month for any reason (medical certificate may be considered at management discretion).
If Prime Star cancels the class, it will be compensated or refunded.
11) Progress Report / Parent Communication
Parents are encouraged to obtain feedback regarding the progress of their children at regular intervals from the coaches.
Parents are NOT recommended to call Coach/Teachers on their cell phones to discuss any matter including the progress of their children, as it may disturb class proceedings.
Any requests for meeting/discussion with the coach/teacher should be routed through the reception to set up a mutually convenient time.
12) Class Area Access
Under any circumstances, parents and/or any other person will NOT be permitted to enter the class area whatsoever when the class is in progress.
13) Discipline
Students must respect co-students and staff members of Prime Star Sports Services.
Any unacceptable conduct causing hardship to co-students, staff, or the institute will be communicated to the student initially.
If unacceptable conduct continues, the matter will be escalated to parents for necessary action, which may include cancellation of registration from Prime Star Sports Services.
14) Property & Personal Belongings
Property belonging to Prime Star Sports Services and others must be handled with care.
Any cost incurred to repair/replace damaged property due to deliberate attempt and/or negligence will be charged to the respective student.
Students should take care of their personal belongings; the institute is not responsible for safekeeping.
15) Academy Rights
Prime Star Sports Services reserves the right to exclude any person from lessons for breach of conditions, unfitness to take the activity, danger to self/others, or abusive/disruptive behavior.
Only students registered for the course will be permitted on the play area.
